Gazprom — RusVelo is ready for the second part of the season
Today the Russian cycling team Gazprom — RusVelo starts the stage-race Tour de Pologne, which will be held from fourth to tenth of August. The Polish race has a World Tour category and is considered one of the central races in Eastern Europe.
In July Gazprom — RusVelo riders had altitude training camps to build-up for Tour de Pologne and the remaining races of the season. The colors of the team in Poland will be defended by: Alexander Foliforov, Sergey Firsanov, Artem Nych, Alexander Porsev, Ivan Rovny, Sergey Shilov and Evgeny Shalunov.
Artem Nych shared his expectations about the upcoming race: “It will be my debut at Tour de Pologne, as well as from any other WT race I expect a fierce competition and an impeccable organization. My teammates told me that during all the stages there will be a plenty of cycling fans and I have already experienced that yesterday during the team presentations in Krakow. This is amazing and definitely motivates everyone, so I am in upbeat mood and will fight for the highest result”.
